Build software in your language.
Nuwat is an AI coding agent for developers who want to turn ideas into working software without changing how they naturally think or communicate.
Why we started
Arabic-speaking developers should not have to translate every thought into English before they can build. Describe your idea in Arabic or English, open an existing project or start a new one, and work from there. Nuwat is being designed to inspect the codebase, plan a change, edit files, run permitted commands, find problems, and help verify the result.
More than an Arabic interface
Arabic software brings its own design questions: right-to-left layouts, mixed Arabic and English text, typography, localization, and left-to-right content such as code, links, and email addresses inside an RTL page. Regional wording matters, too. We are building with these details in mind from the start so AI-assisted development feels natural in Arabic and remains useful in English.
Your project stays at the center
A request is part of a real project, not an isolated chat. Nuwat is intended to use the surrounding code to understand where a change belongs and what else it may affect. You stay in control and can inspect the work before accepting or publishing it.
- Understand the request and inspect relevant files
- Plan and edit the necessary changes
- Run permitted checks and look for errors
- Show what changed for your review
Models should serve the task
Nuwat is being built around a workflow, rather than a single AI model. Different tasks may benefit from different models. Over time, supported providers and ways to connect accounts or API credentials may expand. Our aim is to give developers a clear view of the tools involved and control over their work.
Explore supported modelsBuilt from the Arabic developer experience outward
Many development tools begin in English and add Arabic later. We are starting with the way Arabic-speaking developers describe software and the challenges they meet when building it. The engineering standard remains the same: a natural idea should lead to a clear, reviewable change in real code.
Still early
Nuwat is under active development. Features, models, and integrations may change, and some may remain experimental while we learn from early users. Their feedback will shape what Nuwat becomes.
Build from the first idea
Nuwat means the beginning: the seed from which something larger grows. We want it to be a better starting point between an idea and the software you want to create.
